The Power of Sleep

Sleep is so important and so underrated.  We are all busy and tend to burn the candle at both ends, but sleep is vital to our health.  


Studies have proven over and over again, that 6-8 hours of sleep a night are highly beneficial to our overall health, our immune systems, our skin and our metabolism.  


When we get adequate sleep, we think more clearly and we depend less on coffee or other stimulants.  Plus we are more inclined to get up and get our workouts in.  

Meal Prep Like a Pro

Meal Prepping keeps me on track!  This is a family affair and my husband is amazing at jumping in and helping.  We set aside an hour or so on Sundays to get our meals ready for the week.  Meal Prepping keeps my household on track!

Grocery Haul on a Budget

Eating healthy does not have to cost a fortune.  Do not let your budget be an excuse for not choosing to prioratize your health and wellness.  I can feed a family of 5 on $100 a week.  It just takes a little planning ahead, and sometimes going to more than one grocery store, but its so worth it.  Cut coupons, buy produce that is on sale or in season (it's alwasy cheaper when its in season), and eat in portions so the food lasts longer.  You can do it, and you are worth it!

Quality Solo Time

You need YOU time.  Even if you only take 10 minutes for yourself a week, please take it!  I love to make a coffee date or a manicure date with myself each week.   It gives me one hour to myself that I can just decompress.  It fuels me to be a better mom, wife and person.
